Since there are too many annoying telephone sellers out there, trying to sell anything all the time I have chosen not to display my phone number here. If you need it, please send me an email and I will gladly give it to you.

I always strive to give my guests excellent service with that 'extra'. I want my guests to feel special and very well taken care of. A tour - no matter long or short - should always be a special experience!

I am a positive person and I am always trying to look at things from the bright side. I have been like that since I was a child, so I guess it is in my personality. That is why I call my website and my company "Sunny Anna".

In my blog I share pictures and memories mainly from my trips as a tour leader in different countries. Nowadays I am not that active here anymore, since I am using my  Facebook Page Sunny Anna Ab more. There you will find pictures and short updates frequently.

My mission is Your experience!
Here I am in St Martin Gardens in Monaco
I have been working as a Tour Leader since 2005. I went to Tour Leader School in Spain in 1989, and then I also took my "Bachelor of Tourist Administration" in 1991. I worked in the tourist and restaurant business (mainly as a Maître d' on cruise ships in the Baltic Sea) until I had my son in 1994. In 1996 I went to school again and took a "Bachelor of Information Technoloy and Economics" and worked as computer consultant for quite a few years.

But you know...it is in the travel business that I belong! I want to work with people, I want to give great service and find solutions to different things that occur along the way. I finally realised that and now I am back here with projects I just love to do.

Here I am on a vineyard at the Garda Lake in Italy among olive trees more than 1000 years old
I have done a lot of different kind of trips around Europe. The last six-seven years I have been guiding skiing groups to Austria a couple of weeks every winter.

Here I am on my way down a slope in Austria with some of my guests

Other tours range from week long stays in Paris with a group of retired people, to wine-dine-and-experience trips in a lot of different parts of Italy (like Tuscany, Veneto, Piemonte, Liguria, Sardinia, around Rome, in Campania with Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri etc), south of France, Monaco, Croatia etc
On a boat on Geiranger Fjord in Norway
I have also been a tour leader on trips in the Nordic countries, like Denmark (Copenhagen for example), Sweden (Lapland in the summer, skiing in the winter, theater and concerts in Stockholm and Gothenburg), Finland (different trips in the south of Finland) as well as Norway (Hurtigruten, Bergen, Geiranger fjord, Tromsö etc).

Here I am with a couple of nice guests after we flew helicopter over Grand Canyon

The five years one of my main destinations has been USA and especially the western states like California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona, but also the East Coast and some parts of Canada. I think it is an amazing country and I am glad to be able to share it with my guests! During these tours I work alone with my American driver, there are no local guides, this means I do city tours in i.e. San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas just to mention a few. I was an exchange student in Los Angeles in the mid-80's so I do have some 'everyday-experience' of the country as well.

Here I am w/a group in the lesser known but beautiful National Park Bryce Canyon in Utah, USA
I have worked in New York, Toronto, Washington DC and Philadelphia as well.

In the fall of 2017 I worked on an Around the World tour. We visited Los Angeles, Oahu, Fiji, New Zealand, Sydney in Australia and Hong Kong. I was working alone as a tour leader, and teamed up with local drivers and local guides in a couple of the locations.

This is a mix of pictures from Australia and from Fiji.
I have also worked I a longer tour in the Caribbean. We were cruising as well as toured the islands where I did some guiding. The route was Barbados-St Lucia-St Barts-BVI and then we ended up in Puerto Rico. In Bali in Indonesia I worked on a tour of the inner parts of the island as well as Ubud and resorts by the ocean.

Here I and the purser of the cruise ship are on our way ashore at St Barts in the Caribbean

I spent a few years as a tour producer as well and because of that I think I have a pretty good knowledge of both sides of tour business, so to speak. On one hand I know what will work out in the field, considering obstacles like heavy traffic in some areas, narrow roads, speed limits for buses, waiting times for boats etc. and on the other hand I have some insights in issues like the economy, rules, laws, booking situations etc that may affect a tour schedule.

Somebody once said....
Life is like a book. If you never go anywhere, look around or try to meet new people it is like reading only the first page in a book.

My guests have taken the pictures and sent them to me.
